A freaking mountain goat. I think the voting head to head didn’t work and it allowed some weaker shots to progress and some better pictures to be knocked out early. Giving a Specialized Demo wouldn’t really make a lot of sense. Like sterling needs more exposure? At least the older ones did anyway.

Sterling is the man. This was a time when my closest friends and I were at the peak of our riding times where we enjoyed the freedom of youth and free time and were completely entrenched in riding the Shore and the gnarliest trails.

Sterling do you think Mr. Cookies help us deliver our services. The people chose it scot, not pinkbike Want to be nosey and find out what his plans are for use of money and bike. Interview: Sterling Lorence – Photo of the Year

I’m not arguing that it wasn’t well deserved, just pointing out that it wasn’t at all surprising. No one works harder. If you rode it, in its entirety, you were left high as a kite in stoke.

He is an amazing photographer, but also a paid professional for the site putting the contest on. Thomas Vanderham is a factory rider for Rocky Mountain bikes. No one cares about the evolution of the sport as much as he does. Giving a Specialized Demo wouldn’t really make a lot of sense. By using this website, you agree to our use of cookies. FatBoyFreeride Dec 17, at You must login to Pinkbike. This was cheating, this competition should of have been fair enough so that everyone could participate without the need of being a professional photograper or a professional rider, and the picture doesn’t look natural it was all done in photoshop you could see it right away.

LilAlpenDude Dec 17, at I realize that angry-sasquatch, I understand the definition of a “contest”.

Would have been cooler to see a photog that doesn’t work for PinkBike win it. Ha thanks PB audience for this mornings entertainment. Widely regarded as one of the top mountain bike photographers on the planet, Sterling Lorence is the go—to man for many of the leading bike companies in the world. You are an inspiration to many! I wanna know what hes gonna do with a brand new bike.

Mobile Version of Website. A true soldier of the lens. A steling mountain goat. I remember first seeing sterling back in in Kranked 1 on vhs!

Don’t you think that’s a little unnecessary? Cheers to the photos and is going to be sick.

The forgot to ask: Ok I’ll take it back, Krabbs didn’t get robbed, He didn’t stand a chance When most would choose not to ride, we were up there welcoming the added challenge of wet conditions and loving these elements.

You are a sterlint photographer, I’m only trying to point out that it’s fun to cheer for the “underdog” a popular theme on Logence I have noticed. It’s not my favourite of the year but their is no denying that it’s an amazing photo. This photo at the end of the day does deserve the win and stood out from the start, composition, lighting, and nug factor are all there.
